If it's straight-up flat black, should be no problem at all. If it's got a "soft touch" finish, then it might be tricky. Mine was high-gloss and I was worried about adhesion, but it came out fine and has been quite durable. Some times you just have to go for it and if it fails, strip and re-paint the entire helmet!

Hey Chris. Man, you don't need me to do this, you can totally do it yourself. Get yourself some good tape, some good paint and have at it. You might want a little primer gray before you lay down the white though. Good luck!

Wait..........Dont clean it!!!!! it will sound much better. I have exactly the same model and it is the nicest metal drum I have ever heard. I got some rolled chrome over brass hoops from http://www.willoughcraftdrums.com/ to go with it which lifted the top end frequencies ten fold and with a wonderful softness. I wouldn't part with this drum for anything. Hope you enjoy it :)

A good replica Rolex can't be told apart from the real thing by looking at the Movement unless you are very good. There are replica Rolex Movements that are indistinguishable to the layman from the real thing if you look at them in the case.
There are slightly 'lesser' replicas with very good Swiss ETA or Asian copies of Swiss ETA movements that are as accurate as a Rolex.

There are replicas of the old 1960s vintage 1512 and 1513 or the 'military 1517 that are 1:1 replica of the original and once aged and weathered they would fool a collector.

IF you know your replica watches there are ways to tell though as you posted above by looking at the movement . or easiest of all the Serial Numbers, Rep makers use the same serials on all their cases.

They almost ruined my life about 10 years ago, as I received my credit card bank statement from them one day and my interest rate had jumped from 6.9% to 24.9%. I called "customer service" and was told that my previous payment was late, so they were able to jack up the rate. But I informed them that I made a payment when I noticed I hadn't received a statement for that month, however it was late. They said they weren't obligated to send the statement and the delinquency was on me. To make matters worse, the other 2 credit cards I had also raised my interest rate due to my tardy payment to BoA. It was at the time when I personally believe they were ruining many, many people's lives with this kind of trickery. I will always hate Bank of America, as well as Capital One, Insurance companies, politicians and most lawyers

My Vystar Credit Union account is now open. My checking account pays better interest than my Wells Fargo or Bank of America savings accounts pay. My Vystar savings account pays much more!

Now today, BOA announces they will not charge a fee for debit card....at this time....So, what happens six months from now? What other fees will they start charging.

I am only waiting to make sure my direct deposit goes through and my checks arrive in the mail (daycare doesn't accept electronic payments), then I will close those Bank of America accounts faster than I cancelled Netflix!!!

$5 a month for the priviledge of using a debit card? I don't think so! I finally had the last straw and enough to push me over the edge, close my Bank of America accounts and go with a wonderful bank in my local area, Vystar Credit Union. Pays a lot more in interest and even gives me rewards for using my debit card!!!

And the best part is yet to come...when everyone else dumps BOA and we watch their stock drop from an already low $6 and change to under $1 per share because of their greed!

Bank of America is lower then low life. I took out a mortgage originally with
Country Wide they were bought out by Bank of America some years ago.
They have increased my mortgage with out notifing me. I have fallen on hard times. I lost my job May 2007, became disabled in 2008. I cashed in all of my savings to pay them and last year May 2010 I ran out of my savings. I requested from Bof A to get a refinance and the______ loan officer kept putting me off. Stating DON'T WORRY it will work out. " Just need a little more paper work from you". Being dumb I believe him as of October 2010 I went into
foreclosure. I sold off some property up North, paid off the back mortgage.
April of 2011 I called BofA stating I need a reverse mortgage, because I will be have huge problem paying the mortgage and again I am told by another loan officer DON'T WORRY you have good credit it will work out, but we no longer
offer reverse mortgages. I can get you a refinace loan. I say GREAT. We go back and forth for several months. Yes the rug was pulled out from underneath me.

It is always terrific when someone rescues and refurbs a functional Dyna. It's hard to believe this snare's design is now 50 years old. What's sad, of course, is the fact that "American" Rogers -- whether it be Dayton, Cleveland, or Fullerton -- is no more. I know the name exists today, but only by name.

I agree with some of the comments I've read regarding the fact that Rogers needed to expand on the idea & design of the snare frame. The first thing I would have done is offer snare frames in different sizes -- to accommodate snare assemblies with differing numbers of strands -- 20, 24 and 30 immediately come to mind.

But we all know there's no way in H**l that "today's Rogers" will even think about revitalizing the Dyna-Sonic line, especially in a wood-shell version with reinforcing rings, and in classic White Pearl [a la the original Buddy Rich and Louis Bellson Rogers sets].

So I hope this particular "project drum" is continuing to serve its master well, for a well-dialed-in Dyna really is out of this world.

Perhaps someone will consider marrying together what would be a dynamite combination: A New Old Stock Slingerland Radio King solid maple shell, with Rogers Dyna-Sonic hardware. Go ahead and add the extra coats of clear lacquer to the interior of the shell to make Buddy's spirit happy -- and I think you'd really have "something."
